30 Michael Jones Estate Agents to take on Tough Mudder for charity

Continuing their 30th anniversary celebrations, over 30 team members at Worthing Estate Agent, Michael Jones, have signed up to brave the Tough Mudder challenge for three local charity partners: AudioActive, Wadars Animal Rescue and Care for Veterans.

The 10km Tough Mudder is a fun-packed 20 obstacle event taking place in the heart of London at Finsbury Park on Saturday 2nd April. Though not a race, it’s famous for pushing the physical and mental limits of participants.
Tough Mudder’s ethos is ‘everything is better when done together, not only out on a course but in the community as well’. So rather than championing the individual, the challenge can only be conquered through teamwork and community spirit.

Mike Jones, the company’s founder, loved the idea of everyone getting soaked in mud over 10km for a good cause, saying, “The Michael Jones staff are always up for a challenge, especially one which is tough, exhilarating and involves being outdoors. My team at Michael Jones have outdone themselves again, with many of them feeling out of their comfort zone signing up to do Tough Mudder, yet they are committed and determined to complete the whole trail and do it with our three fantastic charities in mind.”

He continues, “Although this charity event will be a challenge for many of us, it will also be a day filled with laughter, teamwork and lots of mud!”

Each charity partner does different work in the local community, in need of constant funds to keep going. Michael Jones is inviting the local community to donate what they can at their Michael Jones Tough Mudder fundraising pages (or even sign themselves up for the challenge.)

Information on each charity is below and every donation will be gratefully received.

Michael Jones’ Tough Mudder Challenge Charities:

AudioActive: A ground-breaking music organisation whose charitable work involves giving young people the space and support for creative expression and talent development regardless of their wealth or background.
